When Bombs Become Reality
In this advertising example I created, I wanted to bring across the extreme emergency situation the customer may be in, where the mobile phone with the fictional "SOS-Mobile" (My invention- contact me if you're interested) comes to the rescue.

Death in Sarajevo
This image I shot in Sarajevo during the Bosnian/Balkan war, during my days as a war-zone photo-journalist. It was seen on front pages all over the globe. This is a scan of the print, quality is middle good and dust scraches and imperfections needed removal, converting to B/W image and optimizing various sections of image for superior B/W results...

JPG Jacket - Original Image
I love JPG wacky cloths... When photographing a very black jacket against a light BG often image results are ugly like this, if you're not a studio photographer...

What we'll need to fix...
As you can see (I've made image lighter for showing you what'd happen if I'd simply lighten up the image) with the help of the friendly red arrows, sleeves at shoulder area are creased up and lumpy as is the zipper area, logo is rather washed out looking, the orange sides are faded now as well as logo lable inside the collar area and generally cleaning the body area from imperfections. Also must make sure that when color optimizing the white areas do not get effected!

Spot the differences... Hint: see the zipper, shoulder sleeves, crisp logo, tag, the nice white of the inner side at collar and sleeve, lump removed from front, better color overall and clean background!

Minolta Camera Cards- Original Image
As you can plainly see, this image desperately needs a photo-facelift! I'll remove and swap the background, re-arrange cards, position, angles and clean up dust, rebuild better shadows, sides etc...

After some photoshop magic, even this home-made digital camera photo looks great! If I wanted perfect cards, I'd take individual photos of them and then make a better final image. See how I've copied the bottom right card and duplicated it for the bottom left one, with layers from original pasted on top and melted into place.

Eagle and his Background
Eagle was removed from his background and given a new one, all green and healthy!
