Images for Websites- Gallery 1 – Digital Image Manipulation
eBook cover - before
This photo was shot in a small room with an amature digital camera. Results are not so hot... will need to repair profile, add some hair, change hair tone and skin tone to look warmer and livelier, cut out the background and make a nicer one, then add scissors and text...
eBook cover - after
Image is now ready for eBook promotions, either as is or super-imposed upon a book to look more like a real book. Notice the subtle changes in the text effects.
eBook cover 1
This eBook cover was made by super imposing Camille's repaired and digitally manipulated image upon a book I photographed, placing text on the front and sides and manipulating texts to fit with shape and angles of book cover.
eBook cover 2
Same eBook, different angle.
Effilier Scissors- before
Shot with a small, non-professional digital camera, this image needs repair: evening-out of tones, reflection removal and better highlights.
Effilier Scissors- after 1
Nice finish with new highlights and shadows.
Effilier Scissors- after 2
A lighter BG version.
Woman - before
She needs to be made into a painting-like background for website pages.
Woman - after 1
My favorite end-image. Soft tones yet sharper eyes, darker mouth and fades into white.
Woman - after 2
Also a nice end-result, but without fade effect.

Manipulating Photos & Images for Use on Websites
In this digital image manipulation photo gallery you find examples of images I've used for a haircutting website for the eBook sold there. Some of these images were used for the eBook and some for website pages background.
The eBook covers were also made by me, after photographing a fat book from different angles with a small amature digital camera, then using Photoshop to substitute the original cover and side for my own.
The little girl you see on the eBook cover, Camille, is my daughter. I cut out her portrait and made a new BG, also repaired and enhanced her features and lips, added some hair so there won't be that missing patch…
Effilier Scissors image: A bad photo was made much nicer… looking almost like a studio photo. Should've been more exact with cutting out the grip areas, but was a bit lazy at the time, and as it was only for our own eBook and we worked on the eBook images already over 9 months long… I'm sure you can forgive me!
