Sculpture Gallery 1
Sculpture image - before
This image was digitalized by simple scan from a print taken with regular 35mm Fuji film of one of my sculptures. Some years ago I had played around with it and changed the colors. Having lost the original, and feeling too lazy to search through my boxes of prints to rescan, I decided to fix this one...
Sculpture image - after
Now image is clean of "digital-dirt", and rough areas were smoothed to look better... Besides cleaning up the little white dots (tiny grains in sculpture which caught the light and shone, looking like dust and just plain ugly), I also decided to get rid of the base of the torso sculpture, as it ruined the general image. Then I cleaned up the BG and re-did the part for the base to fir nicely in.
Sculpture image - after v.2
Here I've enlarged a part of image and recolored it. Also here I've fixed BG, the white dots & scratches, added better shadows/highlights and improved upon nipples, softened some areas. Make one want to touch!
Sculpture torso - before
This image was taken by me of one of my sculptures. Long time ago, when I was green to digital image manipulation, I had played with the colors and lost quality in this scanned image. Not having worked with layers, I had lost my original image... So let's now fix this and make a nice image of this beautiful female torso... We'll clean up the scratches and digital dust, take out the sculpture's base and repair torso. I'll make a few versions from light to dark BG effects.
Sculpture torso - after
This is my favourite end result version. I like the lighter BG best.
Sculpture torso - after 2
Here in this after version background is middle dark.
Sculpture torso - after 3
The dark BG here is nice for large sized print or with a back-light.

Art Photography, Sculptures & Digital Imagery
This digital photo gallery consists of my sculpture images, which I photographed, then scanned the image and digitalized it. Next, I used photoshop to cut it out from BG.
I cleaned image from rough imperfections, as the the clay had in it many little stones which caused sculpture to look most unpleasing, especially as the given light situation caused the tiny stones to sparkle… Well, since I'm quite a perfectionist and love having every detail carefully treated- Was busily applying the right color, dot by dot, to create the smooth end result… You can see color manipulations and how BG color can have different effect when deeper or lighter.
