Storing Your Images Online

Why store your images online?

1. As a backup, for fast access from anywhere – even when you're away from your computer.
2. It's also a great way you can share your images with others – even if you don't have a website.
3. And when you have a website and want to save yourself your hosting account's bandwidth and storage from quickly being guzzled up as more people view your images, thus costing you more money.

Here's a resource for storing online up to 2GB (2,000MB) of images for FREE; They also offer many ways you can enhance and make use of your images. Check them out-

I use PhotoBucket.com for hosting my images, slide-shows I create and videos. It's a bit of a bother setting it all up at first, but then I can embed the code from my hosted images onto my site- and hey presto- free hosting!

The downside is that you never know if for some reason they decide to wipe you off their records and then your site loses in one go all (embeded) images!
However, for short and heavy-traffic caused by launch promotions it is not a bad idea; may prevent your server (or your hosting account) crashing from too much traffic all in one go.
"Too much traffic" means, that without the right and robust hosting plan in place, things like sending out email blast to your list, or having your JV partners doing a mail-out, or your site getting a sudden rush of visitors from a social bookmarking or networking community, could cause your site to vanish – exactly when you need to make sales!
